In the period 24/09/2019 to 26/09/2019 in Brussels, the first annual policy event of the European Commission will be organized, bringing together stakeholders to debate and shape the future landscape of research and innovation.The purpose of the event is a key challenge for Europe, namely achieving the next major transition of our economy, society and our planet to ensure a sustainable future that will ensure the well-being of our citizens.
The event will be essential in finding research and innovation solutions for this transition, working on policies, establishing direction, stimulating innovation and triggering investments. At the same time, the event aims to mobilize EU citizens and raise awareness of the importance of research and innovation in addressing the challenges facing society.
The sessions of the event are: Horizon Europe mission on soil health and food; Innovative, intelligent, vibrant and circular rural areas; Natural resources in a climate change - place for agriculture and forestry and Agro-ecology growing through open innovation.
