The absorption rate and the contracting rate of EU funds are the reference indicators for our country and for the European Union. Moreover, we consider that European funds are a real and extremely necessary financing tool in a complex mechanism of financing the real economy. Currently the contracting rate of EU funds at national level is 83%, and the absorption rate of European funds is 25%, respectively 10.02 billion euros out of the total value of 36.7 billion available for Romania).
