Grupul Roman pentru Investitii si Consultanta by Ms. Otilia Manta, President / CEO, the Economic Department of the Israeli Embassy in Bucharest, by Ms. Yifat Inbar, the Economic and Commercial Attaché and the Israeli Institute for Export and International Cooperation held Wednesday, June 24 2009, an event about the presentation of Israeli technologies in greenhouses and irrigation. The event, hosted by Petrica Soare, CEO of SC AGROMEC Stefanesti, attended by 70 farmers and Romanian businessmen interested in investing in agriculture, representatives of the most important Israeli companies with activity in the production and marketing of equipment for greenhouses and irrigation, and with projects developed in the whole world - NaanDan Jain Irrigation, Azrom Greenhouses, Top Greenhouses Ltd., Rizk Alla Brothers Ltd, Netafim and BF Agritech.

The presentations given by the representatives of Israeli companies have been followed carefully by those present; they were all impressed by the high degree of technology reached by the Israeli agriculture, and by the fact that all companies successfully apply this method of "turn key" in relation to their customers. The presentation session was followed by bilateral meetings between Romanian and Israeli vegetable gardener specialists.

The moderator of the event, Ms. Otilia Manta, Representative in Romania for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Israeli Institute for Export & International Cooperation, the Program Coordinator Shavit Romania, presented the financing offer through structural funds for investment in the greenhouse field.

The event from Stefanesti continues the series of events held by Grupul Roman pentru Investitii si Consultanta, which aims to create relations of cooperation and partnership between companies in Israel in the fields of farming and regional development and Romanian farmers.
