The IIE&CI representative for Romania, Ms. Otilia Manta made a presentation of Israeli technology in greenhouse in front of over 50 farmers and vegetable gardeners from Ilfov. A event was held on Friday, June 5th 2009, at the headquarters of SC AGROMEC Stefanesti.
The presentation, hosted by SC AGROMEC Stefanesti, addressed mainly to farmers from Ilfov district, those who are directly interested in benefiting from the advantages and the quality of Israeli technology, recognized as one of the best in the world in the greenhouse.
The event organised by RGIC Consultanta, Israeli Institute for Export and International Cooperation and Economic Department Embassy of Israel in Bucharest was attended by representatives of Israeli companies in the greenhouses and irrigation installations, local farmers, representatives of the Israel Embassy in Bucharest, and representatives of mass - media.
This Romanian-Israeli meeting is part of a largest number of events organized by the RGIC Consultanta in partnership with the Israeli Institute for Export and International Cooperation and Economic Department of the Israel Embassy in Bucharest, a series that began with the promotion exhibition in Romania of the International Exibition AgriTech from Tel Aviv, followed by a delegation of romanian farmers and businessmen who participated in the beginning of May, 2009 at International Fair AgriTech.
